We offer in Summer Semester 2015 a Master/Bachelor seminar.

2015-08-28 You can fetch the certificates at our secretary Caroline Frey . If you want to feedback to your work, please ask your supervisors about it.
2015-07-25 Thank you! All expected final versions and rejoinder documents are handed-in. We will come up with grades and with the final certificates by end of August.
2015-05-22 guidelines and hints added (→ see here).
2015-05-21 presentation day shifted from July 6th to July 14th. Also the deadline for the slides is shifted to July 8th. (students + mentor will be informed by email very soon)

General Remarks

The goal of a seminar is to introduce students to the major constituent of scientific method that is concerned with critically reading, understanding, summarizing, explaining and presenting existing scientific papers.

Organizational Issues

All organizational issues are described in the introduction slides

and will be discussed at the kick-off meeting at April 20th, 2015 in 48-462 at 14.00 h. The kick-off meeting is mandatory, only participants of the meeting are allowed to take part in the seminar. If you are hindered, please make an appointment with Christian Wolschke.

It is only mandatory to attend the presentations of your group. There is a new deadline for presentation slides: July ~~3rd~~ 8th (Please send to Christian Wolschke and your supervisor your presentation slides as PDF file).
There is no mandatory template for the final presentation. We provide you our PowerPoint-Template

as a reference, you may use. In case you have no Powerpoint please see the PDF print out of the PowerPoint-Template
